Parents In Charge is a program that was designed for parents that suspect that their son or daughter may be involved with illegal drugs or perscription medications. There are many warning signs that your child may be involved with illegal drug use.The Parents in Charge Program has a trained K-9 team enter your home and sweep for drugs*.
If you are a parent and suspect your son or daughter is using drugs in your home, PARENTS IN CHARGE program is specifiaclly desinged for you.
This program was created to help parents who are in doubt, and need to take control of the situation. As parents we know our children are subjected to peer pressure on a daily basis. Often children are introduced to drugs at a very young age by someone they AND YOU KNOW. Often a child first experince with illegal drug use is in the home unsupervised.
This program is also used as a deterrent when the child is not using drugs. Having a K-9 team sweep your home is a "cold shower" and says to a child that may be contemplating drug use in the home "I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN MY HOME AT ALL TIMES"
How the Program Works:
Schedule an appointment to talk to one of our K-9 handlers.
Complete all paperwork. Signatures of the property owner and or lessee must be obtained prior to any search being conducted
The K-9 Team will schedule an appointment when the parent can be present alone in the home.
The K-9 will be brought to your home to do a search of the designated area.
This program is completely confidential.
No law enforcement or school officials will be notified if narcotics are found.
This program is strictly for parents to take charge when they are in doubt, we are not a drug abuse program, our handlers are not counselors.
A room that belongs to an adult CANNOT be searched without their consent. (18 years and older)
